Including dresses, skirts, leggings, tees and sweatshirts. I know a lot of people have events and family get-togethers over the Easter long weekend, and sometimes its nice to have something special to give them, rather than boatloads of chocolate,  so its a great time to get the kids a special outfit!

And many of the kids clothes we stock are made from organic cotton and they are also fair trade (yep Chocolate isn't the only fair-trade thing to think about this Easter)!

Win a Gorgeous Robe or Kaftan from Be Still Homewares

Be still homewares down that little lane
Wow, two giveaways in a row, how exciting!! What a good month to be a Yellow Dandy reader, I mean, apart from the fact that I STILL don't have an internet connection in the house and am surviving on my phones 3G, so my posts have been a bit few and far between. .. The end of this month they tell me!

Anyway!! This is an awesome giveaway that I have the pleasure of co-hosting with Down That Little Lane, where Sarah from the gorgeous Be Still Homewares is offering the chance to win your choice of Robe or Kaftan!

Personally I love a good robe, especially on a lazy Sunday morning, and these are so lush! I don't always get the chance to look presentable until late into the morning, so a stylish robe is the perfect way to greet the mail man, or to run down the street after kids! Ha!

Be Still Homewares was founded in January 2008 by Sarah an Australian Industrial and Graphic Designer.

Sarah has a passion for fabric and pattern and after a trip to Bangkok in 2008 where she fell in love with the gorgeous fabric that was available, she felt a need to transform that fabric into beautiful designs. The unique products created by Sarah make up the Be Still Homewares range.

Sarah continues to collect and use fabric from several countries including Thailand, Japan, India, Uzbekistan and Kashmir. In 2011 Sarah further added to her collection with a range of embroidered cushions that are designed by her and produced in India.

All you need to do to enter is leave us a comment telling us in 25 words or less - your favorite way to spend a Sunday morning.

Then follow the prompts in the Rafflecopter widget below and you are in with a chance to win.
The competition is open now and closes at midnight 20/04/14 AEST. Good Luck!

Boys Spring Fashion at Target {Sponsored}

Monday, September 16, 2013
This post is sponsored by Target Australia.

I'm really excited to be doing some featured posts for Target, and I'm especially excited when it includes being able to head down to their stores and stock up on some much needed clothes for the kidlets!
As the weather is about to start warming up again, (this is my wishful thinking, the weather has been so rainy and cold still) and Spring is upon us, I realised that Ezra was severely lacking in Spring or Summer clothes that still fit him. So, I headed to Target on a mission to find some stylish outfits for him. Finding trendy clothes for boys has always been a bit of a challenge for me, it seems like the stores usually have rows upon rows of gorgeous little girls clothing, but only one or two rows for boys with a very limited selection. It drives me crazy, and then the stuff I find that I really like is usually out of my budget. Ezra is also a pretty typical 2 year old boy, he plays really hard and likes to rough and tumble around, so I need to make sure his clothes are going to be good enough quality to last the season. I was nicely surprised that at Target I found so many awesome options for little boys, not only are they well priced, they are also great quality, so I had a really hard time choosing! In the end, I managed to pick out my favourite 3 outfits (shorts and tops) and an extra pair of shorts all for under $100, I even managed to fit something in for baby Willow under the budget too. He is so prepared for the warm weather now!

I was also nicely surprised that I had such a cooperative (and can I say really cute) little boy showing off his new clothes!

Ahh I love this outfit, its a little dressier and so can be worn to some more 'formal' occasions as well. The red denim shorts are pretty darn cute and a nice change from the traditional blue!
This is the Road Rebel Shirt and Road Rebel Stretch Denim Jeans. Found HERE and HERE
I love the little camo pocket on this shirt! The shorts still have some 'room to grow' and are adjustable around the waist which is perfect for my skinny kid!

How cool is this shirt, I love the sneaker print?
There were so many pairs of stylish boardies for boys, I had to get two pairs. The blue ones pictures above and this orange pair with the little triceratops found HERE
I was given gift cards and payment for this post, but all opinions are my own! I really am a big fan of these toddler clothes!!

Do you find it difficult finding stylish clothes for toddler boys?
Or do you just get to peruse all the awesome girls clothes?

Seriously cute things for little people

Tuesday, July 23, 2013
The problem with being stuck on the couch/bed breastfeeding is that it gives me ample time for Internet browsing/shopping on my phone, it is really dangerous for my bank account. I often find myself adding all sorts of things to shopping carts, figuring out sizes, shipping costs and hunting for sales in the wee hours of the morning and barely buying anything. There are way too many really cute things out there. Things that are so hard to resist, the only thing stopping me from going on a crazy shopping spree, is that we need to save for all the extras and hidden costs on our new house, but it is so,so tempting to buy cute things for my kids. In case you wanted to be tempted as well, I thought I would share some of the things I am pining after right now.

Seriously way too cute right.

What are you pining after at the moment?

(P.S Willow is doing awesome! Sleeping all day, partying all night, well slight exaggeration but you get my drift, doing all the normal newborn baby things)

Maternity Style: 35 Weeks Floral Fun

Sunday, May 26, 2013

Woah, I just blew right up this week, and I just feel big, but that is ok I guess this baby must be getting nice and chubby! I'm at that stage where it is getting quite uncomfortable, and I'm often up in the middle of the nice doing stretches and trying to find a sleeping position that works. She seems like she is running out of room in there. All day it feels like she is trying to break out. We are getting so excited the meet this little girl, will she have dark hair like me, red hair like her Dad or will she be a little blondie like her big brother?

We are working on names, which was a struggle for us last time as well. We're figuring out where to put her things, and finally I can do some nesting type stuff, like wash her clothes and put them in a chest of drawers we picked up from a roadside pickup, that needs some re-painting, but that will have to come later. I'm hoping she arrives on time, or a little early. Not late like her older brother who came 11 excruciating days after my due date, whilst I was having sporadic contractions every day that kept tricking me into thinking it was time to go to the hospital.

Maternity Style: 34 Weeks Party Dress

Monday, May 20, 2013

So, going to a party when you are 34 weeks pregnant can be a little challenging. It can be really hard to feel glamorous when your stomach is gigantic, your face is all puffy and your legs ache just thinking about wearing heels. Even though I was really excited about going, the thought of trying to get dressed up was really daunting.

Until I found this dress! This is another gem from the ASOS maternity range, and I had to get it express posted at the beginning of last week. I love the bright print, it wasn't just plain and drab like many maternity dresses are, it actually was something that I am kind of bummed that I wont be able to wear when I'm not pregnant.

I also was really smart and left my shoe purchasing to the last minute. I got up bright and early on Saturday morning and hoofed it into Pitt St Mall, I was feeling a little discouraged and desperate, I'd searched for shoes the evening before, but I was so tired and the shops were so chaotic I left empty handed.  I didn't have any shoes for the evening, and I had only a couple of hours time frame to find some. Why do I always do this stuff to myself?

Once again, Myer (my old trusty) delivered. This beautiful pair of Basque boots, for a nice 25% off. I almost didn't even look at them because the size of the heel scared this off balanced pregnant lady! But, I liked them so much I just couldn't walk away without trying them. They past the first test, I could walk around the store without wobbling or looking super awkward! SOLD! They are actually really comfortable, and I pretty much stood in them all night.

The photo's are a little crap because I had to do selfie's with my phone.
My camera suffered a little on the way over and ended up with a smashed lens.
But, I did have fun playing around with the A Beautiful Mess IPhone app to do some editing.

Maternity Style: 33 Weeks Acid Wash

Sunday, May 12, 2013
It finally got cold enough in Perth for me to bite the bullet and get a pair of proper maternity jeans, I'm so glad I did. I just bought these jeans earlier this week from ASOS, and I pretty much haven't taken them off since. They do not feel like I am wearing jeans, they are so comfy. I was a little worried about the whole 'Acid Wash maternity jeans' thing as soon as I hit the complete order button, thinking this could go really badly. When they arrived it was love at first sight, they don't overdo it on the 80's look. The top was another recent purchase from ASOS,  as I am quickly running out of tops that were long enough to cover this expanding belly.

If you follow me on instagram you may have seen me debating about keeping these shoes or not. I do love them, but I wasn't sure they were practical enough, if I have enough things to wear them with.  Then I decided, screw practical, I love them. Yep they are bright and stripey, but that is the way I like my shoes.

I hope all the Mum's out there have a lovely, lovely relaxing day tomorrow and that you feel very spoilt, loved and blessed by your families.

Happy Mothers Day xx

Maternity Style: 32 weeks A bit of Neon

Saturday, May 4, 2013
I've been really enjoying these maternity posts. I still feel awkward posing for the photos, and I still have to get Joel to take about a million photos before I get a few I am happy with. I'm always pulling weird faces, have several chins, the lighting is terrible or my body is just in a weird position. What I am enjoying so much though, is that at least once a week I go to a bit more effort when I get dressed in the morning. I put some makeup on, blow dry my hair and just basically feel good about myself after it is all done (until I critically analyse all the photos that is). With a toddler running around and feeling big and heavy these days I don't have a lot of time to spend on personal grooming, so these posts give me a little excuse! Plus it is a great record for myself of this pregnancy, it will be nice to look back on I think.

I hope that you are enjoying them as well!

So, here we go again, Week 32... Once again you've flown by.

Dress: From Esther boutique, label says Imprint but I can't find it anywhere online.

Maternity Style: 31 weeks

Saturday, April 27, 2013

I feel a little more on top of things than I did this time last week. I am finally getting over my continuous colds that seem to have been hanging on for the last couple of weeks, it helps that we are now all getting a proper night sleep thanks to the cot! I even managed to buy a cradle for my little girl to sleep in. It was a bargain from Gumtree, and you know I love a bargain.

This week I taught myself (with the help of YouTube) to crochet, and I started a little project for my baby girl. I love the thought of preparing for her arrival by taking the time to sit and make something specifically for her. It's a bit of a tedious project, and it takes a lot of counting stitches, but I've been enjoying the time in the quiet, with no technology distractions. It is my time to think and ponder and dream. I think it has been helping me to emotionally prepare to be a mother again as well. Things can be so busy and chaotic with a toddler in the house, as well all the other demands and general business of life. I feel like I need the quiet and the solitude for an hour or so in the evenings just to focus on my precious girl, and how grateful I am for her. I'm so excited to meet her in person.

Angus desperately wanted to be in the pictures with me today. He's my first baby, at least I treated him like a baby until my real baby came along.

And here is the cradle I bought. I am so excited about it, it is so so lovely!

Thanks for visiting my little space online.
I would love if you LIKED Yellow Dandy on Facebook!
